We are YEM, a plug-and-play sales network founded in Italy in 2012 that operates as an extension of manufacturers’ in-house sales departments and creates tailor-made strategies to help them expand their brands onto new markets throughout Southeast Asia.
We offer our assistance throughout the entire sales process as well as technical and commercial support, during the pre and after sales stages.
To coordinate these efforts, we have recently welcomed Thomas Yip into the YEM family as our new General Manager.
Career and Education
His career started back in 1999 as a Sales Executive for Canon Singapore. He then rose through the ranks to first become a Training Manager, then Senior Regional Manager and finally, Head of their Business Services Division from November 2012 until May 2015.
His most recent position before joining YEM was that of CEO for Cyrus Innovations, where he served for a little over 5 years after his 1-year tenure as LCC NetCom’s CEO.
His background education includes a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Management from the University of London, where he graduated with Upper Second-Class Honours.
His role as General Manager and what this means for YEM
The role of General Manager is crucial for YEM. Coordinating the operation of Resident and Regional Sales Managers in so many countries and business segments is no easy task. That is why we are proud to have someone as experienced and visionary as Thomas on board to help lead us towards a brighter future.
“Our main drive is to continuously grow your business here in Southeast Asia, to create new business opportunities and make the most of any existing ones. It was a natural step in our evolution as service providers to incorporate new people whose work ethics embodies our values to perfection.” The words of our CEO and Founder, Franco Pesci, regarding YEM’s future.
Our key differentiator is our strong local presence in almost every country in Southeast Asia and the fact that we constantly hold meetings with distributors and system integrators from every country in the region.
